Botulinum Toxin (commonly known as botox) injections inhibit the muscular contractions that lead to the development of lines and wrinkles. We all develop lines and wrinkles in a unique way, depending on genetics, bone structure, skin type, and repeated facial movements such as smiling or frowning. My mission is to deliver natural looking results with anti-wrinkle treatments to bring out the most confident version of you.
The forehead lines are our main form or expression and the overuse of these muscles creates furrows across the forehead. smoothing these out whilst maintaining some movement is the key skill of administering botox safely.
The eye lines or crows feet are from smiling and laughter and get deeper with age and contribute to sagging skin later in life. By reducing the excessive creasing means the lines will soften and the skin will retain its strength for longer.
The frown lines are often known as the glabella area and either form a 11 i.e. two lines or a single vertical line. These are caused by repetitive use of these muscles and by relaxing them will reduce or remove these lines so you look less angry and more refreshed.
One of the first things people notice about us is our smile – an enticing insight into the person behind it. Smiling results in elevation of the upper lip, and a gummy smile is one which a client feels reveals too much gum. Being self-conscious about smiling can lead to people hiding their enjoyment and happiness. By relaxing the muscle with botox there will be less contraction and pulling of the muscle and skin; this creates a smoother, elevated mouth corner and an ideally happier appearance.
The corner of the mouth is the point where our upper and lower lips meet. Lines or indents in this area are also known as oral commissures or commonly referred to as a downturned mouth.
Smokers lines or “pucker lines” are fine lines that form around the mouth. These lines often become deep and more noticeable with age, as well as being exaggerated by smoking. Lines can be caused when the muscles of the face contract repeatedly, like when puckering your lips to smoke a cigarette. Over time, this repeated muscle movement leads to the formation of wrinkles.
A cobblestone chin is the appearance of a knobbly or ‘orange peel’ chin. This is often exaggerated with certain facial expressions and tends to become more noticeable with age (due to the natural loss of overlying fat). A cobblestone chin or orange peel chin can make the face appear asymmetrical, older and more tired.
Bunny lines, also known as nasal or nasolabial wrinkles, are fine lines that appear on the bridge of your nose and extend diagonally outwards towards your cheeks. They’re formed by the contraction of the nasalis muscle, which is responsible for wrinkling your nose when you smile, laugh, or squint.
Excessive sweating
Botox helps stop underarm, palm and soles of feet sweating. This condition is often known as hyperhydrosis.
Sagging neck bands
With age, our neck muscles pull the neck skin down resulting in sagging, turkey neck skin, prominent vertical bands on the neck, and horizontal neck wrinkles. Sagging neck skin and wrinkles may also appear from cell phone overuse and bending the neck too much.
Teeth grinding and masseters
The masseter muscles that we use to bite Often over clench which can lead to teeth grinding but also asymmetry of the face particularly in women where the jaw looks too wide. By relaxing these muscles it creates an effect of a slimmer more defined jawline.

Anti-wrinkle injections have been used as an aesthetic treatment for a number of years and all around the world. Botox blocks the chemical signals which tell the targeted muscle to contract, thus impeding the development of dynamic lines and wrinkles.
Botox is injected and deposited into the treatment area using extremely fine needles, which is barely detectable by most patients.
You may experience slight swelling or redness at injection sites, but these fade within a few hours.
Most commonly it takes between 7 to 14 days to see the results of Botox. Every person is different, but Botox usually lasts between 3-6 months.
